A new monthly membership at the Merseyway Workshop; providing access to the clay studio and facilities!
Starting October 2023
We’re welcoming applications from anyone with the skills and experience to work independently in a clay studio. Our goal is to assist both emerging and established ceramic artists in advancing their craft, to join a community that nurtures play and creative development, whether it's for commercial ventures or leisure pursuits.
What’s Included?
Rolling contract: £60 per month, with a minimum of 2 months. Paid by Direct Debit. Cancel anytime.
Access to the studio workspace and facilities for up to 3 sessions a week (9hrs), only during membership times.
All membership sessions are for a duration of 3 hours and can be booked online.
The current membership schedule is as follows:
Mon: 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
Tue: 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
Wed: 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
Fri: 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
Final membership schedule TBC. More dates could be added.

You can purchase clay by the bag directly from us or you can source it independently. Free access to house glazes, slips, moulds and basic tools.
Firings are managed by the MW team and charged per kiln shelf.
Also included is a personal storage shelf for clay, work-in-progress and tools.
Free WIFI, access to kitchen, free tea and coffee.
